"This is a cute swimsuit - I wish it were made of cotton!" said almost no one ever.
Would you want a swimsuit that gets heavy and stays wet for hours? Would you buy a swimsuit that can't stand up to repeated wears and washes? Swimsuits are made of the fabrics they are for many good reasons.
The same goes for our soft, stretchy, airy, and quick-to-dry undergoodies. This is first-hand reporting coming from someone who wore them last weekend to multiple outdoor events in a hot humid climate - me!
Do they get damp during these events? Absolutely. Show me any first layer that doesn't. Do they dry within moments upon my standing still? 100% and what a relief! And this makes them extra dreamy for summer travel, by the way. I regularly wear alternatives in the name of research, and so far our pieces are the only ones I've found that dry this quickly and truly feel almost like wearing nothing at all.
Our fitted pieces feature an organic cotton-bamboo blend gusset liner, and the rest of our styles flow over the skin and allow air flow (rather than squeezing and sticking to us).
And I really do Love cotton! and have new fabrics in the workshop - cotton and cotton blends included - to address more and various underthing challenges, and I'll be excited to introduce these new solutions to you as we bring them to fruition (and to your top drawers).
In the meantime, undergoodies really are our airy, cool, and quick-dry summer dress besties, making our closets more wearable and our lives more comfortable and easy.
Give them a twirl (literally!) this summer and join us in the sweet relief of their breezy cooling comfort.
In peace, gratitude, & undergoodies,
Mindy
