Easy to Pack Easy to Wear Easy to Love

My extroverted, people-Loving mom can always find someone anywhere in the world who knows someone she knows. It's fun and memorable and I cherish these moments. (Even when I was a teenager, I knew how cool this was!)

With this DNA and about half of the extroversion, on a weekend trip many years ago, I was wearing a big hat and sunglasses and looking downish to watch my step on a fairly crowded sidewalk on Catalina Island. A nametag worn on a waistband caught my eye: TRAVIS. After it passed, I glanced back and, to my shocked delight, saw the unmistakable silhouette and walk of MY FIRST COUSIN, Travis, who was on Catalina on a band trip with his high school from Washington state! We raced to a payphone (yes, to a payphone! I guess we knew the numbers by heart!?) to call our mothers and grandmother to report our good fortune and spent the afternoon snorkeling together.

On the note of the joys and miracles of travel, I’ll shout it from mountaintops, beaches, and cities galore ...  undergoodies are little travel miracles themselves!

  • easy to pack
  • easy to wear
  • easy to wash
  • easy to dry
  • easy to wear again
  • and again

You know those sporty dresses with built-in shorts / skorts that people like for travel to go from breakfast to hike to museum to cocktails? Turn every dress into that dress with undergoodies!  Pack a little laundry soap, hand wash, hang dry while sleeping / adventuring, and they’re ready to make more travel dreams come true. Throw in another pair for sleeping and you’re covered for all the dreams, day and night.

Seriously, undergoodies:

  • pack down next to nothing
  • weigh next to nothing
  • (are you getting how this means they also feel like you’re wearing nothing?)
  • are versatile as all getouttatown!
  • elevate femininity and glamour

Day to day, we like to give our undergoodies a quick steam - it takes well under a minute! We don’t always travel with a steamer, though - without one we simply wash and hang them to dry - no wrinkles! Or you can use the hotel's iron to steam or iron on low (but those can be scary and spitty!).

What won't be scary is the wind at the top of a cliff or tower - because you'll be covered, comfortably, fabulously in your undergoodies.

Happy trails! ... and museums, shows, historical sights, natural wonders, thrill rides, culinary delights, and perhaps most importantly, miracles shared with other traveling souls.

In peace, Love, & undergoodies,

Mindy

PS: Sorry my bra strap shows in this photo, Mom. In my defense, this is considered to be a decorative strap and I bought it from a lingerie store which sells undergoodies. Shout out to Bra Genie!
